Design and construction of a photovoltaic power plant with an installed capacity of 18 MWp
With great pride, we announce the largest project Solar Spektar AG has delivered to date — four photovoltaic power plants with a total installed capacity of 18.5 MWp, located in the Municipality of Štip.
In 2025, BIG Solar made a major investment in new green generation capacity with a clear vision: accelerating the energy transition and increasing electricity production from renewable sources. The result is a project that sets new benchmarks for scale, execution speed, and technical excellence in the domestic solar market.
As the partner responsible for complete design, engineering, and construction, the Solar Spektar AG team successfully built and commissioned the plants within just nine months: DOLANI SOLAR 1, DOLANI SOLAR 2, DOLANI SOLAR 3, and DOLANI SOLAR 4 — a complex project delivered with a high level of organization, precision, and accountability.
Across the total installed capacity of 18.5 MWp, 30,188 bifacial JA Solar modules rated at 615 Wp were installed on mounting structures supplied by our long-standing partner Metaloumin SA. The system is supported by 54 HUAWEI inverters (215 kW and 330 kW), ensuring high efficiency, reliable operation, and optimal performance under real-world conditions.
With an expected annual generation of 26,011.22 MWh, the project will reduce emissions by 15,259 t of CO₂ per year — a measurable impact that directly confirms the value of the investment and its positive contribution to the environment.
This is more than a project — it is a strong statement of Solar Spektar AG’s capability to deliver large, complex, high-efficiency turnkey energy solutions. The success of BIG Solar and Solar Spektar AG is best measured through results: stable production, strong performance, and figures that confirm the quality of execution every single day.
Solar Spektar AG — engineering that creates energy, value, and the future.
