Kochkov Solar 2, located in the city of Kumanovo on an expansive 4,446.5 m² area, is a state-of-the-art photovoltaic power plant. It is equipped with high-performance photovoltaic panels from JA Solar, a leading global brand renowned for its mono-crystalline silicon technology. The plant features 1,716 panels, each with a capacity of 545 Wp, contributing to a total production capacity of 935.22 kWp. To ensure optimal performance, the power plant utilizes 7 advanced inverters from the reputable DELTA brand, each with a capacity of 125 kW.
By harnessing solar energy, Kochkov Solar 2 significantly reduces carbon emissions, offsetting approximately 400 tons of CO2 annually. This contributes to both sustainable energy generation and a greener environment, positioning the plant as a key player in the global effort to combat climate change.
